The victim has been identified as Ronald Taylor, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
A few minutes after midnight on Saturday, Sept. 2, Trenton police responded to the 200 block of Brunswick Avenue on a report of a male shot.
Responding officers found an unresponsive male in a vacant lot appearing to suffer from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Capital Heath Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
